Hey ❤️ First, take a breath. You are not bad at organic chemistry. Organic chemistry feels impossible when you try to memorize hundreds of reactions separately. With only a short time before MDCAT, we need to make it pattern-based, not textbook-based.

Forget trying to memorize every reaction. For every reaction, ask only 4 questions: 1. What is my starting compound? Example: alcohol 2. What reagent/catalyst is given? Example: K₂Cr₂O₇/H⁺ 3. What type of reaction is happening? Example: oxidation 4. What is the product? Example: 1° alcohol → aldehyde → carboxylic acid That's it.
