According to me, B is the correct answer, and in Volume 1, B is also given as the correct answer. However, on Google, D is given as the correct answer. What do you think—which one is actually correct? There are many MCQs where the answers given in Volume 1 are different from the answers found on Google. So, what should I follow: the book or Google?

yeh question reasoning ka hai, especially statement aur course of action se related. dekho, jab teen logon ko arms aur ammunition ke saath pakda jaaye, toh policing action zaroori hai. course of action 1: "police should be instructed for night patrolling." yeh reasonable hai because threat ko control karne ke liye enhanced security measures zaroori hain. lekin directly yeh problem solve karta hai ya nahi, woh depend karta hai situation par. course of action 2: "the three persons should be set free and their movements should be carefully watched to nab the other criminals." iska matlab ye hua ke potentially criminals chhode jaa rahe hain, jo usually acceptable nahi. kisi ko itni serious cheez ke baad free karna aur sirf ‘watch’ karna logically weak action hai. toh pmdc past mdcat exams ke hisaab se, only course 1 follows. iska matlab hai option a) only i follows.
