sir NY Kaha tha ethanol is more soluble than methanol in water but HOW I don't get the concept of relating VP/affinity and solubility and even in book there is no mention of exception? Can anybody explain pls

As sir said this is beacuse of high vapour pressure of methanol so it escapes quickly and doesnot dissolve while ethanol has lower vapour pressur sir n ye excetion btai bhi thi revision mn bhi
