السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته In the hydrocarbons lecture, Sir wrote temp 140 or 170 C with Al2O3 catalyst in dehydration of alcohols to prepare alkenes. But book says with Al2O3, temp is 340-450 C. With 75% H2SO4 --> temp of 140-170 C (dehydration of primary alcohol) With 60% H2SO4 --> temp of 100 C (dehydration of secondary alcohol) With 20% H2SO4 --> temp of 85 C (dehydration of tertiary alcohol)
