can any one tell me that if the size and energy increases of an atom so indirectly number of protoon also increases because increase in electron is increasing the size of atom, so increase is electron ka matlab increase in proton alsoo, i konw best option is C but D is not wrong

Assalam u alaikum, No, the protons DO NOT increase or decrease when es increase or decrease, jb atom electrons gain krta hai ya lose krta hai tho number of protons same hi rehte hain, un pr koi farq nhi prhta.

you always have to take the context of the questions into account and the question mentions quantum numbers and as you and I both know that quantum numbers dont have anything to do with proton number so D is wrong
