Nope option D is not correct bcz it follows the IUPAC rules. In IUPAC names , halogen name comes first. The one which is a common name and doesn't follow IUPAC rules is the right option i.e C option

I know that in IUPAC we write the halogen first but we also number from halogen side and in ethane we have 2 carbons so how can we write 2-chloroethane, it can be 1-chloroethane or just simply cloroethane.
